Product pages look different

For some reason when the two pages are accessed, one has the title at the top above the filters, and the other has the title below the filters. I want the pages to be consistent and cannot figure out why this is happening. I prefer the title at the top. I have approximately 15 menu items and some have title on top and some below filters. Also I would like to be able to see if it is possible to have a cleaner filters look or maybe a drop down filter for all filters. so you first select the filter and second select what you want filtered. You have to check the settings of your different menus "t-shirts", "men-s-apparel", etc. They need to have the same configuration.
It seems that some of then are products listing, and other are categories listing with an associated module to list the product and sometimes the filter option is enabled, and other times it's a module assignation.
