Show Sold Out Message A Different Way

The client wanted to know if you have a suggestion to the enquiry below or if the most recent Hikashop would prevent this.

If you notice on the page, as per the attached pic, it says "Sorry! This is sold out.". This message makes it appear that the dress is sold out but really it's only the "Small" size that is sold out. But because "Small" is the first size on the list, and it happens to be sold out, the message automatically show when you first enter the page.

Is there a way to have the message show only when the user clicks on a size? Or is there a better way to do this?

The sizes are created using radio buttons.

Hi,

You can change the default option in the main product edition page.
But this is not dynamic, to make it automatic it will require custom code.

What could be done is to change the message to something like "This size is not available, please select another one".
Or using some javascript, don't display the message and when changing the size, display the text if needed.
