Category wise products on homepage

Hi,
I want show products on home page category wise, Category title then products below it.
Like:

1. Catery Name (Shoes)
4 Products in a row from shows category

2. Dress
4 Products in a row from dress category

3. Bags
4 Products in a row from bags category

4. Jewellery
4 Products in a row from jewellery category

any one have idea how i will achieve this? please guide me.

Thanks for reply, but issue is that i have to make some dropdown in admin side for show desired products on home page, like Show on home Page Yes, No and I no want show all categories, i have to show just 4.

so how can achieve this with Sub elements filter?

This is not possible only with sub elements filter.

To do this without any code, I recommend to create a new category, for example "MainPageProducts" and in this category create again the desired 4 categories. Then in the product edition page of the products to display in home page, you will have to assign them to the newly created category too. Then in he options of the menu, select the category "MainPageProducts" and display the sub elements grouped by category.
