problem characteristics add to cart

Hi,

This can happen for three reasons:
1. There is a javascript error on the page which prevents the characteristics system to switch between the variants properly.
2. You didn't modify the layout of the product page correctly (or your template view override is not correct) and because of that the HTML of the page is not correct and the characteristics system cannot switch properly between the variants.
3. same as 2 but with the HTML of the product description.

Go in the menu Display>Views of HikaShop and look at the "product" view files for your template. There, if you see a bin icon in the "remove customization" column of the listing for some of the view files, it means that they are not the original view files that we ship with hikashop and that they have been altered. More specifically, the show and show_default view files.
If that's the case, you can click on the bin icon in order to remove the customization on these views and use the default code of HikaShop instead. I recommend that you make a backup of the files contain before as you will loose the customizations of the template/that you made in these files when you do that.
