Since loading warehouse options to give great flexibility to shipping methods, our products with variants are causing orders to fail at checkout.
Carts look ok on front end, but back end they differ, usually defaulting to a zero balance or saying not enough stock, when there are no restrictions on the amount of stock. In some instances the product titles merge in error. Customer would have no idea why their order is not processing.
We individually loaded warehouse, product title and amount $ of product into each variant, but still did not solve issue.
Before having warehouse options on site the product - characteristic - variant worked well.
Our variants do not differ the product price, they are there to add options for the consumer eg. Leg of Lamb = Variant is (1) Bone In (2) Bone Out. They are very simple in nature. The variants even have same shipping method as product.

Hi,

Note first that you mention that you have HikaShop 2.3.2 while when I checked your website, I saw that you have the 2.3.0 installed.

Well, your description of the problem correlates with your description of the solution.
If you use warehouses, you need to configure them in your products and in the variants and in the shipping methods.
With HikaShop 2.3.2, that we released yesterday, if you don't set the warehouse in the variants, the system will pick the warehouse of the main product instead so it might help, but really, just setting the warehouse everywhere you need it should be enough.
So if you think that you got everything setup properly, I would first recommend to update HikaShop. And if that doesn't help, I would ask you to provide a backend access to your website so that we can check your settings.
