I have a question about the variations of products. I'm creating a shop with printing materials and for example I want to add product that have more than 1000 variations. The product loads very long or does not load at all is there a way to fix this?

The products for example is a flyer that have variations type like size of paper, quantity, paper type, paper thickness and the price is different for every variations. After adding everything it shows around 1300 variations.

I have a free version of shop will the purchase of the premium will help with my issue?

Hi,

The variants system is a heavy system. If you have too much variants so it will take very long time to load.
It require many requests, etc. So a better solution, is to use more categories in order to reduce the number of variants.

For example having the category "size of paper" will allow to considerably reduce the number of variants.
Regarding the quantity, Why are you using it as variant ? It's better to use the default quantity field.

With only these few things, the page load will be really faster than before.

I know there are many variations and the quantity is the most responsible for it but i can't use the quantity built in hikashop due to the prices. For example 50 flyers will cost around 20$ but 100 will not cost 40$ the price will change to around 38$ etc. The more the cheaper.

Hi,

This can be handled by the default price system in HikaShop.
You can set different prices based on the quantity in the prices part of the product edition page. ;)

Hi

Well it looks promising but there is one more issue. The minimum order quantity is for example 50 so can I set it to start with 50 not 1? And lets just say that the customer types something below 50 is it possible to change the price to notification like: "Minimum amount is 50" ?

Hi,

Yes, you can set a minimum quantity with the option "Minimum quantity per order" of the product. A message will be displayed automatically to the user if he tries to enter a lower number.

Hi

One last question about the quantity, is it possible to set quantity to skip to some amounts. For example the starting point is 50 after you click on the plus button it will change not to 51 but rather to 100 and later to 250 etc.

I also have different question don't know should i start a different post or not. Is there a way to add file attachment somewhere near the message in the cart?

Hi,

You can select the value "Show select" for the option "Quantity layout on product page" in the configuration in order to have only a dropdown with the desired values.

Set min quantity, and use max quantity to set the increase value.

Or create your own show quantity layout to make it work as you want, you can too use some Javascript to edit the input value dynamically.

You can add file attachment in the checkout thanks to the custom fields of the table "order" via the menu Display > Custom fields. It require a commercial version of HikaShop.
