Custom Field should disappear when choosing.......

.... a specific Options...

Hello,

I have a question about Product Options:

I created a Categoy named "Specials"... Then a Product "Als Geschenk versenden"... This Product has a charakteristic named "Grußkarte" with the options "Ja", and "Nein"...

If the Cutomer checkes "Ja" he can writes a Text for a greeting cart in the Textbox... But if he chooses "Nein" the Textbox ( created with custom Fields- item- Textarea ) should dissaper...

"Ja" Textbox Box is shown...
"Nein" Textbox should not be shown

How can I realize that ?

Hi,

Does the option alter the price ?
If not, you should better use another custom field and restrict the display of the textarea depending on the the other custom field.

Else it will require some Javascript to hide or not the textarea based on the option value.
