-- url of the page with the problem -- : midwestmeats.com.au
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.10
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : N/A
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : None

If Product Variants are created and not given a price (which is usual in our shop as the Variant does not affect the overall price), then the value of abandoned carts is shown as NULL when viewed through Customers | Cart.

If the customer proceeds with the purchase then the price is calculated correctly (i.e. the price for the product) however it would be a good enhancement if the Abandoned cart also showed the correct price.

For now we will update all the prices of all the Variants individually (I couldn't see how to do this with a Mass Action).

Thanks
Brett

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. We'll fix that for next version of HikaShop.

Regarding the Mass actions, you can use the action "Display the results" in order to display a listing of variants or products (based on a filter) and then you can easily the price of each one by clicking on the price cell, entering the new price and validating. It's much faster than doing it via the normal interface.

Hi, Using the new version 2.5 I cannot get the variants to show to amend the prices?
See my settings, if I do not select the variant then the price can be changed for the main item, when selecting the variant only the default variant shows and the price does not change?

Can you help solve this please

thanks

Hi,

That's normal. There is only one entry with the product_id 11303 in the database and that's the main product.
If you add a filter on variants, that won't display anything as there is no entry with that product_id and which is a variant.
What you want to do instead is to select the column product_parent_id instead of product_id and that will select the variants of that product.
