Add SKU to search results?

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is possible to add the product number/sku to the search results?

Right now it only shows the item title - and our shop has many items with the same title so this is confusing.

Hi,

You have to configure the HikaShop search plugin in the Joomla plugin section.
The joomla configuration of this plugin allow you to configure it and select the fields to search in.

Hello,

I am not asking about what fields to search in, I want to display the sku along with the product name in the search RESULTS.

Hi,

If you want to customize the search result page of Joomla, you need to modify the corresponding view of the Joomla search component. It's not easy to do, even if you're a developer unless you really know your way around. The best is to not use the Joomla search system but to use instead the filter system of HikaShop:

It also allows you to have a search box for search (and much more advanced search mechanisms), but it displays the results as a products listing with all the options of the HikaShop menus/modules so you can have the product image, the code, the different layouts etc.
