featured products

However, I cannot see how to select individual products that we want to feature this month.

Can you please explain.

Hi,

"Featured products" in the demo website is a module to show random products in the same category that the product you are currently viewing.

Please be more precise with your requirements.

Hi,

The customer would like to promote different products each month on the Home Page.

We want to select using product ids in a module

Hi,

The best will be to use an hidden category (a category which is not published) that you can called "featured".
The module will make a listing from this category and because the category is unpublished, it won't be displayed in the rest of the website.

After that, you can manage the feature products by adding or removing them from the category (because a product can have several categories, it does not affect the rest of the website).
