-- Joomla version -- : 3.2.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.3

Dear Hikashop,

On my website, i want on every page a header of the menu that is selected.

When u click "Beeld & Projectie" in the leftmenu, i see all catagories with their products, but no header saying "Beeld & Projectie".

In the joomla menu manager, i have set page header to yes, and filled in Beeld & Projectie, but no luck.
I cant find it in Hikashop how to display the header.

The article layout is in Table, grouped with catagory.

I searched the forum with no luck. In the documentation i only find custom fields, but i dont think that will solve my problem. I want to header to be created automatically , not manually

Can somebody help me out?

Hi
use on the page you want the header firebug and chrome debug to see which selector exist in the position you want . then search in all php file this selector . Then add near this selector or in the html tag that contain this selector the h1 tag and content you want . The selector is specific to the template ( layout) you use so difficult to help you without view /study the code .

Here example for hikaqhop demo your text could be place after inside contain_right but before item-page-home . Title can be set define in global configuration of joomla where your view fields lable name "sitename " i think .

Take care page title is <title> </title> place in <header> is not he same than header <h1>your text </h1> . page title is unique and appear in the top left corner OR center top of browser border . .....

Hi,

Your website is in maintenance and thus cannot be accessed so I couldn't look at the HTML of the page.
Normally, yes, you activate the page heading of the menu and it will display the menu title automatically at the top of the page. That's what we usually recommend to do.

Hi
it is in the menu configuration page of joomla backEnd that you define the link to the component/article and if the title of this component will appear or not after web user click on the link you create .

Thanks for your input.

I tried it, but with no succes. It took me a lot of time, so i decided to create manually a header in a joomla module.

That was also a lot of work, but it works nice.

Thanks again though!

Hi Nicolas,

Sorry for the offline, i forgot there was a topic about it.

I used a Joomla custom module to do the trick, but that's all manually. So if you have a solution which automatically place the page title, i would be very happy!

I set the website online, untill you respond.

Thanks!!

Hi,

I checked your website and I see that you're using HikaShop 2.3.0 and not HikaShop 2.3.2 as you stated in your first message.
There was actually an issue before the 2.3.2 with the "group by category" listings which prevented the header to display on the page:

The page header was not displayed when using the "Group by category" sub element filter of products listings
