Related Products displays ALL products in category

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.2
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.24
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.24
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : all browsers

Related Products and Recently Viewed just displays ALL products in a category.

I have trawled the forums but found nothing that seems to help.

Attached is the config and results from a particular page; But this consistently happens on all product pages.

In the attached example the first product

shows 3 related products all from the 'Conveyors' section but the product page shows all the products from the current category 'Mixers'


Also the recently viewed is doing exactly the same.

This is driving me crazy. Hope its something you can quickly help with.

In the settings of your modules I can see that there is an assigned category, the "sales" category, is the "Conveyors" category in the "Sales" one ? If not, thanks to change the associated category.

Thanks or you quick response.

I have changed the Associated Category for "Conveyors" to "Sales" - no difference.
In addition I also changed the Associated Category for the parent category (Machinery) - no difference.

1. Regarding your "Mixers" product listing content menu for example, the solution will probably be to set the "category" option to Sales/Machinery/Mixers instead of Sales, so you won't have unwanted products displayed.

2. Regarding your "Related products" module as it's said on the following tutorial, you'll have to publish your "related products" module through the "Modules to display under the main area" option of the page "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Display" : www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/i...ct-form.html#related
