Max variants produ and max attributes custom field

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.3
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : All

How many variants can be made for 1 product? We made about 200 variants and Hika shop gave an error. We don't know the exact maximum.


What is the maximum number of values (attributes) for 'item' and for 'product' in a selectionlist in the custom fields?

Hi,

The maxium depends on your server.
If you have a big server with a lot of memory etc, you will be able to manage more variants for a single product.

We recommend to not have more than 50 variants for a single products ; because it becomes harder to manage your store (prices, quantity) in such organization.
In some specific cases, you can grow up to 100 variants but more than that, it is better to find a new structure (use options, custom fields, etc).
