Remove "Add to Cart" on Compare Product views

I have looked through all the archives and help and can't find an answer to this.

We have a "compare products" feature on this site. It pops up after the customer filters for carat size and/or price. On the compare products view, there is an option for ADD TO CART. We don't want this option, because then the customer adds the product to the cart without choosing the necessary setting options that appear on the product page.

How do I eliminate the "Add to Cart" button on the comparison views?
