-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.36

I know maybe this is a silly question but i do not know what i'm doing wrong.
I've setup a category listing module in the frontpage which is intended to display featured product. So i've created some products, select the category featured for them. Make some adjustments in the module display (img-pane, the width of the image.....) Now i've got a beatiful module shown in the frontpage showing the products assinned to the "Featured category"
When i click in one of this products, it shows me the product (show_default) view but my previouly setup sidebar modules (filter, a navigation menu, info..) are not displayed.
What am i doing wrong?
Thanks.

Hello,
Your issue is probably coming from the fact that you have restricted the display of your modules to some menus, so the solution will probably be to set the "Menu" option of your product listing content module configuration page to one of the menu when the menus are allowed to be displayed.
Also, note that using the Advanced module manager will probably help you.

I found the solution by myself but thank you very much.
It was quite easy, but the spanish translation of the config fields is not very good so I misunderstand the Menu entry in the "featured module" i've setup. So I add a new menu item inside "hidden hikashshop menu". Once I did it, I could assing this menu to my "featured hikashop content module". Last step is to assing my several sidebar menus to this menu over the Joomla assigment system and it's done.
But again, the main problem is the poor spanish translation of the component. It confuses me.
Anyway, thanks for your help.

Now i've got another question: as i write above i've created a category "featured" to assing several products to it. Products have its own original category ex. "hardware", so these products ended in both categories. In the module assigned to the menu content you can customize Content on product page parameter betweeen several choices: in the same category displays also the products in both categories and i do not like this behaviour. this module should display only products in the featured category.
How can i make this.

Hi,

So you have to select the desired category for the "category" option.
This will display only products in that category.

Please take a look at the pictures.
toalla 1 has two categories "destacado" which is the featured category and "caballero" which is his main category.
when i click on the product it goes the prodcut page and you could see at the bottom the "Associated products listing for category listing menu 313" is displaying both categories products and i do not want that. I only need to display other products in the same category, featured ones.

Hi,

Simply unpublish the "featured" category. That way, it will still be taken into account for the featured products module as it is directly selected in the "associated category" option of the module, but it will be ignored for the display of the products in the same category on the product page.

If i unpublish the "featured" category the module only displays the product in the primary category as you can see in the attacments.
I want the opposite behaviour.

Hi,

The product is in two categories, it's category and the featured one, right ?
I think that you have to change the order of the categories in the product edition page in order to have the main one before the featured one.

This way, it will display the featured products from the first category so the main one.

Else you can use the "related" functionality, which allow you to select specific products to display when on the product page.
