extra info popup

Hi,

When showing options for a certain product, there's a 'i' next to the option-name. On your demo website, one can click on the 'i' and a popup shows the extra info. How to realise that, because now, on my site, the info is only showed when I keep my mouse on the 'i', but it's not a popup.

You just have to fill a value for the option "url" under the description area on the product edition page.

In your tutorial the URL field is meant for: The url of the product is a url to the manufacturer website in order to get more information for your customers. This url, if filled in, will be displayed on the product page.

That is not what I mean, sorry.
I just want the info from the Desciptionfield showed in a popup, just like on your demowebsite.

But when I put an Url in the url-field, the 'i' after the name of the product disappears...

Sorry, I should gave you more informations.
You have to let content in the description part in order to have the "i" displayed and the description shown on mouse over.
And you have to fill the url field of the options, and set a url to the option product page in frontend with "&tmpl=component" in the url in order to display the product page in the popup when clicking on the "i".

Here is how the "mouse" option is configured

demo.hikashop.com/ gives a 500 error!

In the backend of the demo, you filled in an url but no description.
demo.hikashop.com/administrator/index.ph...roduct&task=edit&cid []=171
When I do the same on my site, there's no "i"
But when I fill in description ánd url, there's no "i' either. Only when filled in the description only.

Avez vous modifié la vue "product / option" ? Si oui, merci d'en faire une sauvegarde et réinitialiser cette dernière.
Pour la réinitialiser, il faut aller dans Affichage > Vues et cliquer sur la corbeille en face de la vue.

En effet, par défaut le "i" doit s'afficher si il y a une description ou/et une url.
Je viens de faire le test en local et cela fonctionne parfaitement.

As far as I can read your French post (please respond in english next time), no I did not change the option-view in the product area.
As you succeeded in your test, I changed the template to be sure it's not causing by the template. In Protostar it works fine. Back to my own template (a bootstrap 3 template from Joostrap.com) the "i" is not visible. So the problem is caused by the template!

Do you have any suggestions where to look to solve the problem?

Sorry, don't know why my previous answer was in French... I think I do too much forum ^^

So yes, the problem is coming from your template, They probably don't have the same version than us for the options display.
What can be done is to backup the views in the folder "templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/product" and remove them. Or edit their content to keep the desired things but have the correct data for the "i".
