In you case you have to use the filters instead of the search

So your custom field "column_name" is "number", right ?
And your products are all in the category "Product category" no in sub categories ?

If they are in sub categories, you have to enable the option "Including sub categories".
You can too try to change the "Search processing" value.

Regarding the menu with the id "103", is it a listing menu which allow to list all the available products in your shop (from all categories and sub categories) ?

I really think that your issue is due to the menu with the id 103, please try another one, a published one and it must allow the listing of all the products of the shop.
