Hi there,

I set in the Extensions > 'Template' > Features (in my Gavick template options) to add a suffix to a Item that is a category as 'Products Listing' category listing in Hikashop. When I click on the product that is in the category, it will still add the Body Class I set for the suffix. So what I am wanting to do is to get rid of that so that it doesnt do that as it is effecting the template CSS layout (for the entire page) I have specifically just for category product listing pages only and dont want the body class on my product pages after clicking a product in a category.

Is there any way around this?

Many thanks.

Hi,

This seem to be more a Template issue than a HikaShop one.
It doesn't seem to be handling the product pages correctly.

To add that class only in product listings, you can directly edit the view "product / listing", this way the class will be added only in the product listings.

Thanks for the reply.

Dont you mean on Product View page since I need it on Product Listing pages but not on the actual product? (well I guess I could do it the opposite way which prob would need to or my Gavick page will override it most likely)

But if I add a ID or Class to part of the Product View page, wont that only effect what is on the Main Content page and not on the actual body of the page?

Yes, that will only affect the main content.
HikaShop has no control on the body of the page. That's the template which controls it. So as Xavier said, you would have to see that with the template if you wanted to have the suffix in the body tag for only some specific type of pages.
