Ordering Variant prices

Is it possible, without a core hack, to control the order in which variant prices are displayed?

I woulds like to order the prices in ascending order, but cannot find a way to do so.

Variants order is based in characteristic's values order.
In Hikashop configuration there is option "Characteristics values ordering" where you can choose how characteristic's value are sorted.
If you set "Ordering", then you can change order of characteristic's values in characteristic edit screen.

Note that you can order your product variants by using the order field through the variant listing that you can access through the "Manage variants" button of your product page.

I don´t see any option of ordering under Products ->Characteristics.
The only option I found is to create the characteristics / variants by creating them in the order they should appear under the product page and then select the option "Characteristics values ordering" to "ID" in the Configuration->Main->Product section. Ordering by Alias does somehow not work. So as explained is the only way I identified to solve this. But it´s a poor sitation in case you forgot one characteristic / value type and you can not add this one afterward. Therefor you then need to delete the complete set of characteristics / value items and create them new in the right order.
