Hi,

I have a menu item for my product listing... the menu displays products by category.

When I click on a product, I see the product page is shown. The URL of the product page has the same Itemid as did the original menu item.

I show the filter module on the product listing menu pages. I do not need the filter module on any of my specific product pages.

Is there a way to not show the filter module on a product page but keep in on the products listing page? Do I need to alter the PHP code to not have the Itemid as part of the links (the links on the products listing page)?

Thank you,

Dennis .

Hi,

1. IDs in links can be turned off by setting the backend parameter "Remove products and categories id in URLs" to "yes" (under "SEF url options").
Not entirely sure if that'll work for you, but maybe worth a try.

2. If you're using a filter module, NoNumber's "Advanced Module Manager" (Pro version only), gives you the required extra control on which HikaShop pages modules should appear and where not.
However, there's been at least one other thread here recently questioning how much sense it makes to display filters on a product page, and if I remember correctly, it's being considered to make it optional in future versions?

Hope it helps.
