2 simple questions!!!

hi!
I start to use Hikashop and, I m very happy for the platform and how easy it is!
I have only 2 questions!
the first, how could I create subcategories for a product? f.e, jewelries>handmade jewelries> the product?
I have made alredy a category, including in this products! how could remoov this category on an emty main category? or this impossible to be done!
and my secont question! how could ad a photo of the product, before someone enter in the product to see it? I meen in this section that is riten the price and the quantity, before clicking in! inside, I have put photo! is it any way to put, ither manually, a photo outside, maybe in stend of this photo with the barcode? to replace it or if it is possible, to put a photo with the product from the Hikashop!

Hi,

1. You can create categories via the menu Products>Categories. In each category, you have the option "parent category" where you can select the parent category you want for your category. You can also use the left category explorer to access the listing of sub categories of a category and then click on the "new" button to get a new category created under the current category of the listing. And then you can simply select the category(ies) that you want for each product in the "categories" listing area of each product.

2. You need to add your image with the area "Images" that you can see at the bottom right corner of the product edition page when you edit it.

for imeges, I have to upload an photo with a specific analysis, f.e 100x100 picchel?

Hi,

You can upload with the size you want ; HikaShop will resize them when required (for product listing, etc).
