Hika Content not showing on Frontpage

Hi,
Hikashop content is not showing on any menu item that is set to be the Home page.
Hikashop content does show on all other menu items.
We are using the JoomlaXTC Qix template.
I want to have either a product or categories listing on the home page.
I noticed that the associated modules section is seen in the admin for the home menu item but not the others.

Like other Joomla components, HikaShop menu items are displaying in the Joomla content area, also known as main or component area, also used for system messages.
Many templates, JoomlaXTC among them, come with this component area deactivated for their homepage by default. So, you should look into the template framework settings (Joomla backend -> Extensions -> Template Manager -> JoomlaXTC frontend template -> Options), and find the parameter to activate the component area (or whatever they call it) for the homepage.
