Modules not unpublishing, Content positions & More

I have a series of questions - I am very sorry if some are easy fixes as I am unfamiliar with the software and am struggling to figure out what it is I'm supposed to do! I am so sorry if this is in the wrong forum category.

- Modules not unpublishing

This is my first struggle! I have a series of modules that I'm messing around with and for some reason despite unpublishing them, they're still on the page. I have the set to unpublished on both under the Menu display item's listing on the Hikashop component and under Modules on Joomla!. The modules are: "Categories Sidebar" and "Random Products", which should be unpublished, but are still showing up on the page ( fishwise.co.nz/index.php/hikashop-menu-for-categories-listing ) - have attempted to clear Cache and they're still there.



- Content position

Probably the easiest question, I likely just need my memory refreshed. I want my layout like below -



With the module (Categories Sidebar) in my template's left position and the Categories Listing menu item in the position next to it. However I can't seem to figure out where to change the position of the Categories Listing menu item, and I assume that is why the Categories Sidebar module is not displaying to the left despite being set to the left.

- Invoices

Where do I edit invoices? :blush: Or do I need a version other than the Hikashop Starter?


- Shipping to NZ

Is there any integration with shipping to NZ? Our postage service has an API key - www.nzpost.co.nz/products-services/iphon...apis/rate-finder-api - however I am too unskilled to get these to work together. Are there perhaps any extensions/plugins available?
How else do I work Shipping costs if no integration is available (eg rates based on Anywhere/Rural and Weight)?


- Integration with Xero

Is there any integration with Xero available? To allow for tracking of stock and sales between Hikashop and the accounting software Xero?

Okay, first one I figured out - it needs to be unpublished under the "Associated Modules" too. Sorry for the confusion there.

Hi,

2. The menu item is displayed in the main area of the template. There is no option to change its location.
If the module isn't displayed on the left sidebar, it's either that the left sidebar position is deactivated in the template. Switch to one of the default template of joomla and see if you're able to display the module on the left position of that template. if so, then the issue is with the template settings. If not, then it's probably with either the Joomla settings or the HikaShop settings of the module and we would need screenshots of these settings to help you further on that point.

3. Which ones ? The ones you can print in the backend of the website when you edit an order ? You can edit the file "invoice" of the view "order" via the menu Display>Views for these.

4. There is no shipping plugin available for NZ post. So either you have it developed for you by a professional developer (you can request a quote to our partners: www.hikashop.com/home/our-partners.html ), or you enter the shipping rules manually in HikaShop with the hikashop manual shipping methods plugin that is installed by default. You'll be able to use the weight/zone/post code restrictions to be able to assign a different price for different weight ranges/zones/post code ranges (one manual shipping method per combination).

5. There is no integration plugin available for Xero. So you would need to have it developed for you by a professional developer (you can request a quote to our partners: www.hikashop.com/home/our-partners.html ). You can however export CSVs of your sales in HikaShop (export button in the orders listing) and import them manually in Xero: personalhelp.xero.com/#Importing_Transactions$BK_CSV

2. It doesn't appear to change position despite template changes and position changes. Screenshots are below -









3. My apologies, I think I've figured it out!

4 & 5. That's unfortunate :( I assume there are no intentions to implement these features any time soon?

2 Great ! :) Yes, guest won't display the module if your not logged in, it should be public if you want it displayed all the time.

4 & 5 Not in the short term. You're the first one requesting them so far as far as I know.
