Product image different size in chrome and IE

I am building a site to buy paint, problem that I have is that in google chrome my product image is of a good size and placed to the left of my text. But in Internet Explorer the size of the images is much larger and is placed on top of my text...

Obviously, the view for the product page has been customised (perhaps by the template provider?), and these customisations along with the template.css are causing the images to be both positioned and behaving strangely, not only in size, and sometimes depending on browser width.

You should consult whoever made the customisations, and possibly also the template provider (again, maybe it's all coming from there?).
