Changing Product Quantity on the Product Listing

Hi guys we are trying to get the quantity +/- and Add to Cart button to show up for each product on the product listing page as well as the product detail page.

Have you tried setting the parameter "Quantity field on 'Add to cart' button" in your content menus/modules for product listings to "Yes"?

Also, look out for the following parameters/options in the backend configuration:

• "Display the quantity field on the product page" under -> Main -> Product
• "Quantity layout on product page" under -> Display -> Default parameters for products
• Eventually those same parameters/options on product addition/edition pages

Tried all those and they did not work.

I've successfully added the quantity selector to the products listing, but I want it to be a drop-down... I'm using the table layout - thus the listing_table.php file... but there doesn't appear to be an option anywhere to set it to 'show_select' on the configuration screens. Is there a way to make this happen? Drop-down quantity on the table product listing?

Hi,

To have a dropdown quantity selector, you have to change the value of the option "Quantity layout on product page" in Configuration > Display > Products in order to have a dropdown for all the products.

Or you can edit this option in the category to apply it on all the products of the desired category or you can set it product by product in the product edition page.
