Options not updating price and title

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.5
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.5
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : FF

In my product I added some options. But changing the options does not update the price. Is this normal behaviour? When I go to the card the price is updated and the options prices are added. you can try it on the URL I added in the URL field.

I've made a screenshot of the product settings.

Does someone have a solutions...?

Hi,

Here the product page with option in our demo website.

A script is executed when you change a product option ; this script will collect the current product price and call a webservice in order to get the final price for the current product with the options.

But the thing that I don't understand is that the product you got have the id "178" and there is no element in the page for that element ; there are two elements for the "179" and "180" but nothing for the "178".
The product does not looks like a product with variants but a part of the HTML page indicate that it is.. So I'm wondering what is really that product.

If it is a product with variants ; it looks like you remove some useful HikaShop content in the product page.

Problem solved!

We removed all the corrupt products an added then again to the shop by copy and pasting the product content in a new product. Just copy the product gave the same problems.

I have the same problem, but in my case The product name will change by option change but product price does not update also card does not update, what's wrong?

I didn't totally understood your issue, I tested it on your website and it seemed to work fine.
Can you give me more information about your issue so that I can directly reproduce it on my end ?

We have some products that have features, e.g A basket with 2 size (small and large), we defined the basket and also defined 2 options and assigned to the basket, in frontend of site in this product two size of option shown but when we select one of them no update happened and always in customer card add the small size, why?

Hi,

You can see that if you go in the folder templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/product via FTP and rename the view files of the product page that you customized in order to deactivate them, you'll see that it works properly.
That's because when you customized the product page layout, you removed all the DIV ids which allow the characteristic system to update the elements on the page based on the selected values.
You would have to add them back if you want the characteristics system to work properly.
