product title display bug

Hello, i just noticed that when there are more product with product title very similar, every product is displayed with one name only.

you can test it yourself with this names

Set Dadi FORGIATI RED Japan Racing M12x1,25
Set Dadi FORGIATI RED Japan Racing M12x1,5

product names are displayed correctly in the main pages, but when you click to open the product page both product have the first name

Set Dadi FORGIATI RED Japan Racing M12x1,25

i have set alias, key words, and page title with the same name too (if this can be a problem)

What do you exactly mean by :

every product is displayed with one name only

Can you tell me exactly which parameter of your product configuration page isn't showing on your product page detail ?

Hi,

The link url can be provide thanks to the "canonical url" ; because there is no product id visible in the URL ; I suppose that you're using this feature.
That's why I think that you might have some modification in the product name ; having some details about the two products in the HikaShop backend can be useful for the understanding.
Would it be possible to have screenshots of the configuration if these two products ?

Please give us access to your website in order to do deeper tests.
We were not able to reproduce the issue on our end.

ps: which version exactly do you have ? latest don't give us many informations ;)

Hi,

The problem is that your alias is not valid.
It shouldn't contain any space or comma. Instead of them, it should have dashes.
I've fixed the aliases for the two Set Dadi FORGIATI RED Japan Racing products and you can see that it now works fine for them.
