Hi,

I'm new to Hikashop and still a bit struggling to find my way in it.

I have been fiddling with an installation and somehow lost the plus and minus sign of the quantity for products and the cart.

Any pointers as to how I could retrieve them?

Hi,

You must have changed the "Display the quantity field on the product page" option of the HikaShop configuration to something else than "ajax input".

I did, but resetting to Ajax input does not do the trick.

I suspect it's more of a template issue. The template I'm using has been designed with hikashop in mind and I believe I've been to eager in changing a bit of the code provided by it. Oops...

There is always a learning curve and hikashop is the best Joomla! e-commerce extension I've encounterd so far.

I'll get back to this post when I've found out what was going on.

Finally I found I had to change the "Quantity layout on product page" option to get the right layout.

I've spend hours getting to know the Hikashop code meanwhile :P

My question now... the plus and minus signs are displayed at the product pages and during checkout, but not in the cart.

Is there a similar option I need to change for the cart?

Hi,

No the cart has a different display, and currently no options to change the quantity field layout.
The only thing available for the moment is the select dropdown.

To have plus and minus, it will require view edition, the view in question is "product / cart".

Hi vaconiit,

Do you made the changes to this view?
I would love to have those plus and minus there to :-)

Hi,

We didn't add the possibility to have plus and minus in the cart module.
If you want to do it, you would still have to modify the code of the view file product/cart.php via the menu Display>Views.

Hi Nicolas,

I cant find the solution.
I even cant find any html class in the view you told it should be in.
The table of the quantity field is: hikashop_cart_product_quantity_value but that is not in that product/cart file.
Than my brains stops there :-)

Is it possible to hire you to change this option?

I want 2 things in Hikashop checkout page changed.

1. The quantity plus and minus added to the checkout page
2. I want the table of listing the image, title and price, quantity changed in div's,
I fi know the view i need to change i can do that but i cant find it.

Hi,

1. If you need someone to work on that for you, you can contact our partners:
www.hikashop.com/home/our-partners.html

2. If you're talking about the cart display on the checkout, then it's the file "cart" of the view "checkout" that you want to edit.

3. For the table listing, it's the file "listing_table" that you want to edit via the menu Display>Views.
