Strange social icons behaviour

Hi, I had a problem getting social icons to show on the product page. A PinIt icon was seen but nothing else. It was not before i DISABLED the Hikashop Social Networks Plugin that the icons appeared.

But then I noticed this: There are two Hikashop Social Networks Plugi's in my system, one marked as Type: Content and one as marked as Type: System. If these both are enabled, the social icons disappear, if only the System type is enabled, likewise. What is the System type plugin used for, or is it a remain from some older version of HikaShop?
