Product Options Dropdpwn remove "Price with. VAT"

Is there a way to remove the additional info "Price without VAT" at the product options dropdown? The entry get's to wide so it is not shown nicely. Please see screenshot attached.

Hi,

The dropdown is generated by the view "product | option".
It use the currency Helper (the class currency) to display the formatted price.
I don't see any code in the current view which will display the price with and without tax in the same time ; so I think it is done during the price formatting (which is unusual).
