Gif images dont work

Hello,
Today i tried to add a gif image for one of my products and it did not work. Why this happens?

What was not working exactly ?
HikaShop does handle GIF images and does allow the upload of GIF images.

PS : Please do not use "latest" as a version number ; specially when we just made a new release which is not currently available for automatic updates. So "latest" is not useful at all ; the best is to provide the real information.

The hikashop version i have is 2.3.5. As you probably know gif images are supposed to be a animation. When it gets uploaded it doesn't work as an animation but as a single frame.

Hi,

That's normal. HikaShop doesn't support animated GIFs resizing and just use the first frame for the thumbnails of GIFs in that case.
It's actually quite complex to do it in PHP (almost as much code for animated GIFs as the whole image resizing library we have) for almost no use since almost no one uses animated GIFs for products images.
