Hi all!

Is there a way to show a specified module under all item views? But just under item view, do not want to show it on category view.

Also the specified module should be this:
We have imported from CSV around 30.000 items to our webshop, but a lot from the items are the same, just in item's names the size name is different. So I thought it would be easier to create a module position under the item view, and show the "name related" (products with similar item name) products in a module.

Am I able to achieve this with the current Hikashop modules?
Or has anybody any idea how should I start solving this?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Is there a way to show a specified module under all item views? But just under item view, do not want to show it on category view.

To do that you can for example use the "Modules to display under the main area" option via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Display".

We have imported from CSV around 30.000 items to our webshop, but a lot from the items are the same, just in item's names the size name is different. So I thought it would be easier to create a module position under the item view, and show the "name related" (products with similar item name) products in a module.

You'll be able to SORT the product of your product listing, but not only display a product regarding his product name. The solution be to directly group the product that you want to be displayed on a category, and then display the product of that category.

- HikaShop Starter: 2.4.0
- Joomla 3.3.6

I have tried to disable the product module under category view but it still shows up.
I go to menu management > menu item > Hika Shop options > Associated modules.
I then select no for all modules, and save. But the products still show under my categories. What am I missing?

each time I remove the association and save it I get this message:

"You just saved a category listing menu without setting an associated module for it.
If you want to display a product listing below the category listing, you need to add an associated product listing module.
You can do so automatically by clicking here
Successfully Saved"

But when I go to the front end I still see the module. I navigate away and then back into the menu and the association appears again.
What else am I supposed to do?

Hi,

You need to have the associated module. If you disable it, you won't see any products at all when you click on a category, which is not what you want.
So this means that you should keep the associated module and that either you have configured the main category in your products' category listing, or that you have set the "sub element filter" option to "all sub elements" in the settings page of the associated module while it should be set to "direct sub elements".
