Dynamic Characteristics?

Hi
i just want to ask, is it possible to create a dynamic characteristics?

for example, product under A category, have these characteristics but not always the same

example :
Product X only have 1 and 2 drawers model
Product Y only have 3 and 4 drawers model
Product z only have (2) 2 drawers model but with different specification

i've tried using characteristics but it's kinda impossible considering i need to create characteristics for every product [every single one of them have different specification]

any solution?

is it possible to have something similar to field X? [1 field but have multiple value]

also is it possible to create a filter to find product with specific characteristics?

for example : i want to display product that have 4 drawers [ignoring the width, height and depth]

In your case, if you have too many specifications regarding your products a solution can be to use some item/product custom fields via "Hikashop->Display->Custom fields".

can i build filter for custom fields ? because all that i know that filter is based on characteristic
