Downloadable content accessible for other website

Hello

I have some videos in my shop which when purchased can be downloaded.

Now I have an opportunity to bundle these videos with some other products of another website and they would like to just link to the video downloadable product in Hikashop.

I know the directory is .htaccess protected ... but is there a way to allow this for this?

Hi,

The files in the "upload safe" folder are not accessible directly ; you should use a PHP script in order to send the file to a user.
So if you want to allow some of your safe files to be accessible, you need to copy them in an accessible folder or you need to create a PHP script which will send the specific files to the users.

The HikaShop download system just allow the customer to download the files they have the right too ; so a user first need to buy a product, to download his files.
