-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.28
-- PHP version -- : 5.
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : many

Is there a way like joomla article to configure hikashop product fields rendering like Joomla Article . HKS logic is rather different than Joomla if i understand well HKS and joomla ! .
In joomla article view ca nbe custom using the article manager Edit mode under "Article Options" tab title .
In HKS the product fields are custom using Menu component -> hikashop ->display -> custom field
. USing HKS way i can custom my new created fields but not in a product level instance !!
So we can't custom specific HKS product like joomla article ( show/ hide) ?
If I want to show/hide some fields for only a small number of product not the others !! How can i do that using GUI backEnd like joomla article option ( show options ) ?
If php is need could you give me the file where php logic code must be write ?

Thank's

Hello,

If php is need could you give me the file where php logic code must be write ?

The solution will be to :
- Use the option of the page "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Display"
- Use some CSS code www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...the-display.html#css
- Edit the file of the "product" view like the "Show_default" file via "Hikashop->Display->Views".

about : "Edit the file of the "product" view like the "Show_default" file via
"Hikashop->Display->Views".
Does those files are bundle during installation ( for each template name ) or is create during the use of hikashop ( for each template name ) ?

Hi,

The override files are created from the code view files when you edit and save them. Sometimes the template can embed them already in order to customize the HTML of the views of HikaShop.

Hi
you say : "edit and save them " . does it mean using HSK BE not "edit and save them" using file editor ? . If i want to custom the file using file editor i don't want that using HSK BE modify destroy my change !

"View" is All the php files that ll be use for rendering data in a html file ? ( to be shure of the meaning of the word we use )

I have to test to understand if what i am writing make sense .....
