-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : any

Not sure if this have been asked or not. I tried to search but wasn't able to fine a similar question.

For my side bar I have plus and minus signs for categories with sub categories but for the categories that won't have sub categories it still displays plus signs. I didn't see how to style the categories vs the categories with sub cats because the code structures are the same.

How can I not have the plus signs for categories that don't have the sub categories?

Hi,

Please provide a screenshot of your category listing module.
It will help us to understand what you configured and what could be changed in your configuration to have something more like you want.

Hi,

The link to your website does not give us the detail of the configuration for the category listing module.

Hi,

The mode you're using is based on the Joomla accordion (pane) system.
In HikaShop, we have a special helper which allow us to use the pane/slider/accordion system depending the Joomla version (and the bootstrap design option).

I found an article which explain the basic of the Joomla pane (JPane)
tutsforu.com/panel-slider-using-joomla.html

As you can see, in HikaShop, we set the title of the pane as the title of the category (with a link) and we add the sub categories as the content of the pane.
The rest is handle by Joomla and by your template (which will style the pane).
I made some tests and I couldn't tweak the JPane display like you want.

I don't know if you want to keep something dynamic or not ; but I can recommend you to use the "simplelist" option which will use a classical ul/li structure and not the Joomla pane.
Otherwise, some extensions are proving some similar features, like MaxiMenuCK / AccordeonCK
www.joomlack.fr/extensions-joomla/maximenu-ck
And some other extensions listed in the Joomla Extension directory
extensions.joomla.org/tags/hikashop-extensions
