Out of Stock Variants appearing on product pages

Hi,

I am having an issue with 0 quantity or Out of Stock variants appearing on the product pages. I have the option of "Display Out of Stock Products" set to no. Out of stock variants are still appearing from the drop-down selector.

What am I missing?

Hi,

That's probably because you removed only some variants of a characteristic value.
If you remove the "bermuda S" variant, S still has to be displayed in the dropdown for the other colors, and bermuda still has to be displayed for the other sizes of the product.
However, in that case, if you select a variant which doesn't exist, the system doesn't let you buy the product:
take.ms/HvYPp

If you want to make it easier to understand, you can change the "characteristic display method" option of the HikaShop configuration to either "table" or "list".

Hi Nicolas,

Thank you for the explanation. I see what you are saying, and it makes sense. I wish there was a way to hide the "0" quantity variants, but I guess it is not possible. The main reason I have so many of these is that most products on the site come in 1 or 2 pieces and then that is it until more stock comes in.

Hi,

Using the table mode will be easier to hide the products without stock using a little view override.
Overriding the dropdown is still complicated so it's not something we will recommend.
