Choosen category on custom fields and discounts

Hi all,

I have a big problem.
I've created custom fields (entry) and some discount rules.
Both are supposed to be applied to a certain category.

But, When I choose that category and hit "save", it does not save it, the field turns blank again.
It does so in both cases, so with the custom fields and with the discount rules.

Please help ??

Hi,

Download the install package on our website and install it on yours and it will add patches for that.

Installed the update.
But no luck.

System > Config > Display > Default parameters for products > Display custom item fields = Yes

Display > Custom Fields > Item > see attachment

Any thoughts ?

Hello,
Can you :
- Active the Joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the Joomla configuration to "maximum"
- Test it again so that we can see if it display an error message which will help us to understand from what your issue is coming.

Thanks for all the help !

The fields are still not showing in the Front, see attached files for setting in the item fields : see attached files.
Config > Display > Default params products > Display Custom Fields = YES

It used to work but now is doesn't anymore.

All help will be gratefully accepted ..:-)

Hello,
1.
I just tested it on my end and it worked fine, in your case the "Paches" category seems to be applied to your custom item field.
2.
Are you sure that :
- Your product are on the "Patches" category
- You have set the "Display custom item fields" option of your product listing content menu to YES (via "Hikashop->Display->Views->Content menus").

Ok. Found the problem.
Problem is that I had created a test category to try stuff with.
This is a subcategorie of the folder Patches.
See image cat.png.
Problem seems to be with the display of the custom fields, where it does not show the subcategories of "patches". See attached file view.png.

I move the products from the test category to "June" and now it works again ...

Wierd ...
