Product Editing Problems in Demo

Hi

Totally new to both Hika Shop and Joomla, excuse total ignorance.

Have done a search of FAQ's, documentation and posts.

I'm playing with the Hika Shop demo site front and back end to see if it's right for me. A key part of that is to have products belonging to several different categories at the same time.

So to test it I added a product in the back end of the Demo but then found I could not assign it to a category - or at least, to a category that would show up on the front end. When I click 'Add' in the category section of the product, I then select 'Shoes', and 'Men' for from the default categories in the Demo version, then OK. It then says 'Please Make a Selection from the List'. I've no idea what it means.

Result - my new product has a category (Product Category/ Shoes) but NOT Product Category/ Shoes / Mens Shoes) - and so does not show up in the front end at all.

What am I missing? Does the demo back end not allow me to add products that will show up in the Demo front end?
