You just saved a category listing menu without setting an associated module for it.

If you want to display a product listing below the category listing, you need to add an associated product listing module.

You can do so automatically by clicking here

Successfully Saved

I have set up the menu in Joomla menus and gone to the HikaShop > Display > Content Menus and everything is correct but when I save I always get the following message..

But it doesn't save the setting and when I automatically click here it makes 'Another' module and attaches it but if i make a change again it does the same thing (doesn't save & gives the same message).

If I give you site access, can you please look into it and see if I have set up everything correctly or weather it is a bug?

Hi,

When creating a category listing menu, you have to associate a product listing module, else when clicking on a category you will not see any products inside.

But as you said, you have to associate only one module per menu, and once it is done you shouldn't have that message again.

Please try to re-install HikaShop over your current install, there was maybe a mess when installing the first time.

If problem is not solved after re-installing, please give us site access, you can send them through our contact form, don't forget to give the url of that topic in the message :)

Thank you for the reply, I rebuilt the site into another Joomla install as the site with the fault was an upgraded joomla 3 from a joomla 2.5 site and I noticed some other issues with the site itself.

Now that I have rebuilt the site into another fresh joomla 3 install the fault has gone.

I have moved over to HikaShop after finally throwing in the towel with VirtueMart, I stuck in there with VirtueMart for tooooooo many years and now it is finally over, the HikaShop system is far more logical, flexible and all inclusive. What kept me going with VM was a 3rd party company called VMUikit, they had built a template for VM that was based on UI Kit, this made it incredibly.. "incredibly" easy to stylize with YooTheme sites (which i mainly use).

I have done searches but are you aware of any HikaShop templates built on the UI Kit system?

Hi,

This template www.joomfx.com/joomla-templates/destinyfx which is listed on our "templates for HikaShop" page is integrated with UIKit:
www.joomfx.com/demo/templates/destinyfx/...x.php/features/uikit

Please note that HikaShop templates are actually Joomla templates with some customization of the styling of HikaShop to better integrate with the template itself, but HikaShop can work with any Joomla template.
