Automatic changes of stock quantity when ordering

Hi,
I have a shop where we have special offers and limited editions of one item per product. Meaning that when that item is sold it should no longer be availanble and get the label no longer in stock.
I have set it up like this now:

But when someone orders the stock is still on 1 so I have to log in and change the quantity field to 0 every time manually which is very annoying.
What is wrong?

Hi,

Is the option "Update the product stock on confirmed status" disabled ?
By disabling it the stock will be updated once the order is created, if it is enabled so the order status must be a confirmed one.

As far as I can see it is disabled...

So this mean it should be updated once the order is made?
Then what can be wrong?
