-- Joomla version -- : 3.2.2
-- PHP version -- : PHP 5.3.29

Hi there,
I have a few questions when I am using hikashop category and menu to list products.
1. Is it possible to show the navigation on product page ?
ex. You are here: homepage>main menu>sub menu>under sub menu, which means how we find the produsts and allow costomers to go back to one of the menu slection.
2. When I click the main category, it will display the sub categories, not the products, as attached. How could I make it show all the products on the same page under the sub categories display as well? One way I find was to list the product under both main category and sub categories, which is too complex.
3. How can I hide the image of the sub category?

Thank you!

Hi,

1. you have to enable the "breadcrumb" module and then play with the breadcrumb settings in HikaShop > Configuration > Features > SEF urls

2. The categories are displayed thanks to a menu, then a module is attached to this menu, you have to edit the settings of that module in order to set the value for the option "Sub elements filter" to "all sub elements". These settings can be found under the menu Display > Content menu, select the category listing menu, then scroll down to the associated module part.

3. You have to change the settings of the category listing menu this time, select "div" for the "type of layout" option and the value "title", for example, for the option "Type of item layout".

Thank you! They are all sorted.
Another problem about category listing is that: is it possible to slider show or popup all the sub categories with the mouse hover?

Hi,

There is no option in place to do that on mouse hover. And as we use Joomla's accordion system to have the slide out of the sub categories on click, it wouldn't be easy to change that.

It would be faster the rewrite the whole display with custom javascript in a view override. If you're a developer you can do that by editing the file "listing_list" of the view "category" via the menu Display>Views. It's not an easy change.

Hi,

That's a standard module of Joomla. You can enable it via the Joomla modules manager if it was generated by Joomla when you installed Joomla. Otherwise, you can use the "new" button of the Joomla modules manager in order to create a new instance of the breadcrumb module.
