Turning related products off in accessories.

I'm working on an e-commerce site and we've installed the business version of Hikashop onto it. We created related products and called it accessories and we chose specific items for each product page. Unfortunately, when we chose the items, the respective accessory product page has all the other items listed on it, which we don't particularly want. Is there a way to shut or limit our accessories from listing these related products under their pages? Our programmer seems to be having an issue with it and I figured you'd know better than anyone.

I turned that off and we still seem to be having the same issue.
