Manage Product Varient

Dear sir
I can see you changed the way of managing Variant products, I have the following problem
while trying to edit variant, and once press on any Variant to edit, an empty pop up appear with title File, if I close, other popup with title Upload File, and if I close it, other popup appear, .....
please advice why those popups appear while I need just to edit the variant

also, it looks you are not Generating variants automatically anymore, it has to be manually managed

and am using joomla 3.3.6
am using T3 Blank template (BS 2) not 3 for the front end, however, the ISIS for the backend

Too bad that the variants not any more automatically are generated! We are using many characteristics and now it looks more work.
We found out to work now but maybe you have to explain more about this in the change log en documentation.
