PRODUCT display and ordering

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.38
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 41

My WINE products are currently listed under their Category, and alphabetical.

I would now like to sort the products according to their a) CATEGORY and then their b) RATING, i.e. Premium Range or Vinyeard Selection.

I thought of creating different BRANDS, called Vinyeard Selection, Reserve Selection, etc etc. And then apply these 'brands' to each product.

But I am not sure how to display the products alphabetical PLUS according to their 'Brand'.

I have the Business version of Hikashop. Perhaps there are other options?

Hi,

I would recommend to create a menu item of the type hikashop category listing in order to first list the categories of the products.
That way, the customer will first see a list of the categories, and click on one.
Then, he'll see the products of that category listed. There, you can order them by their rating by selecting "product_average_score" in the "order column" option of the associated products listing module.
