Wrong itemid from category display

Hi,

I'm sure I have something configured wrong but I can't find what I'm meant to do.

I have the main menu home item set to "Hikashop -> Category" display and it displays a list of the categories on the homepage. I also have links to the categories on the main menu of type "Hikashop -> Category".

However, when I click on the homepage category links the itemid remain 101 and doesn't pick up the correct itemid?

101 = homepage itemId (hence I said remains 101)

The homepage is setup to show all the categories.

Category menu items point to specific categories and have different itemId's for each category. How can I get the homepage list of categories to point to the same itemid's as the menu items I have setup for each category please? So when I click on one of the categories on the homepage instead of loading the category with the homepage itemid, it loads it with the corresponding menu item itemid?
