Quantity Selected in Decimal Point

-- HikaShop version -- : 5.2.0

Hi, Is it possible to have a quantity be able to be selected/ordered in decimal points. For example ordering a quantity of 5.6 meters. The numbers would go up to 100 so there would be no use in making a variant as you would have to make 1000 variants (1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc.) or is the only way to make a text field variant but it has to still calculate

HikaShop: v.2.5.0
Joomla: v.3.4.3

Hi,

The product quantity must be an integer (a whole number) and it does not support decimal numbers.
So if you want to use such kind of special quantity ; you have to use a fixed unit (like "cm"). And then "5.6m" will become an integer : 560cm

Afterwards, it is possible in HikaShop to have special quantity selectors (we propose several by default).
You can see to override one in order to have you special selector which will convert the user selection to that "integer quantity".
It requires some development skills ; but it is something possible with Hikashop.
