-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.nielsandersen.com/index.php
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0 business
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.43

I have a couple of products listed in two categories. One category is their "regular home" where they fit into the product structure of the site and the other is the "new" category for what's new on the site. Both category menu items have identical settings, which is inherit on everything, and yet the pages display differently. Both product categories display settings are set to inherit.

Examples:
Regular Category Home - www.nielsandersen.com/sculptures/bodybuilding/male/overall and nielsandersen.com/sculptures/bodybuilding/male/regular-size
New Category Home - nielsandersen.com/whats-new

Why would these display differently?

Hi,

And if you force the settings for the options "Type of layout" and then "Type of item layout" ? Is the display correct ?

If you mean in the hika settings for the menu items, no. It looks the same. Let me know if login credentials would be helpful.

Hi,

Please provide screenshots for the configurations of the HikaShop modules with ID 184 and with the ID 131.

I was making those screen shots and then realized what you were referring to as "Type of layout" and then "Type of item layout". I found that the What's New page nielsandersen.com/whats-new is for menu item ID 123, so editing that HikaShop module to force an Image and Description layout worked and now the layout is the same on all the pages. Why would that being set to inherit in that module not work?

Hi,

When you use "inherit", HikaShop read the settings stored in the configuration :
