-- url of the page with the problem -- : noelbyepsilon.com/noel2/index.php/en/kat...ta/category/swimwear
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.22

I built this eshop
noelbyepsilon.com/noel2/index.php/en/katigories-proionta

When i click on a category e.g. Swimwear
noelbyepsilon.com/noel2/index.php/en/kat...ta/category/swimwear

and then click on a product (e.g. the first swimwear)
noelbyepsilon.com/noel2/index.php/en/kat.../hand-swimwear-green

i notice that the Previous and Next Product Buttons leads me to products of another category (products of the Bags category).

What I do wrong?

Hi,

The "previous" and "next" button are logicial in the way than you are using simplified breadcrumb; so the "category path" is not provided in the URL and HikaShop can't know from where you are coming from.
So, the two buttons are linking the previous and next products according to that precise listing : noelbyepsilon.com/noel2/index.php/en/katigories-proionta

See : www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...ig.html#features_sef

I too am having the same issue. It looks like the next buttons are showing in the order the items were created and not just the category of the screen I am in. I tried to read the documentation but that does not make sense to me. Any more simpler way to help me?

Hi,

The previous/next buttons base themselves on the order you configured for each product in the main category of the current product.
So first, edit the product in the backend and check the categories setting of the product.
There, the first category listed is the one that will be used by the system.
Then, go in the products listing of your backend, and click on that category to see the list of the products of that category and set the "all sub elements" dropdown on the top right to "direct sub elements".
There, you'll have an "order" column where you can define the order of the products.
The next/previous buttons will use that order to select the products where the next/previous buttons will lead to on the product page.

Ouch. I don't think I have been consistent with entering products as I didn't think it mattered the order of the category. I will go into each one to the first category.

Do you mind explaining to me the what all sub elements and direct sub elements means? I see this a lot and I make the changes but don't understand it.

"all sub elements" means all the elements that are either directly linked to the current category or to the children categories of that category.
"direct sub elements" means only the elements that are directly linked to the current category.
So knowing that, it's logical that you can only order products in a category when you only display the elements directly linked to that category.
