Concept of displaying content via menu and modul

Hi at Hikashop!
I am fiddling around with hikashop for about one week and not quite sure,
if I got the idea of category and product displaying .. Concrete questions:

1. In the display menu I don't see the tabs "Content menus" and "Content modules" you referring on your documentation page www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...splay-front-end.html
Please see the attached screenshot. Why is it like this? Some bad configuration or installation?

2. If I use a mixture of including things ".. with a menu" and ".. with a module" I have two places for configuration of the category and product displaying. (Because of the missing tabs described in 1. I used the direct "Joomla pathes" via i) "main menu" and ii) via "modules" for the configuration) On top there is a configuration in the hikashop "main configuration display" section for products and categories. This affects both methods ".. with a menu" and ".. with a module"? Is this correct? Or do recommend another approach?

3. How do I switch off the "Category image" and the "displaying number of rows" on a products listing page?

4. How do I configure the image size on a "Single product page"?

5. I use the responsive Helix 3 template. When I include the product listing via the ".. with a menu" method it is not totally responsive, the images does not fit in the i.e. iphone screen .. Yes, I enabled "box layout". responsivetest.net/#u=solar-engine.com|640|1136|2 ]

6. When I change hikashop css and, or php code to adjust layout what would happen after a hikashop update? I guess all the changes are lost, or?

Hi,

1 & 2. Since HikaShop 2.6.0 ; the menu/module edition has been moved into the Joomla part.
So when you will edit your module or menu in the Joomla interface, you will find new tabs for the HikaShop content.
The "old" interface is still available for Joomla 1.5 and 2.5 ; that's why the documentation is still available but we are working on a new one for Joomla 3.x

3. It's not a product listing menu ; it's a category listing menu with a product listing module.
So you need to deactivate "show image" and "show description" in the "category options" tab.

4. In the HikaShop configuration, under the "images" section.

5. Helix 3 is using Bootstrap 3.
HikaShop is compatible (for the moment) only with Bootstrap 2 when you activate the "bootstrap design".

6. Your overrides are made using the Joomla override system. So the data is stored in a specific folder in your template and you won't loose you modification with updates.
